The Latest “Challenge Yourself” Exercise Gimmick

The latest exercise marketing tactic that has been used over the past couple years, and is continuing to be used with a new program that was just released is that of attempting to convince people that the “kill yourself” workout is truly the only option that there is for effective fat loss and fitness…and that they should WANT to do this, to achieve their goals.

Make no mistake: If you workout intensely (“insanely”) for an hour a day, you WILL get dramatic results.  The developers of this program know that, and they also likely know that in getting a number of customers to achieve these results, and present the testimonial showing the before/after pics, that they will be able to that much more readily market the program to a new customer base based on these testimonials to secure new purchases.

So they have taken a new psychological approach to try to convince people that they can work themselves to exhaustion, and instead of looking at it from that standpoint of something that is…and should be…dreaded…to instead look at it as “a personal challenge to motivate yourself to succeed” type of perspective.

In other words, a mindset of “*I* can be the kind of person that half-kills himself, *I* have that kind of strength and will power, *just watch me* prove it” as compared to one of the usual “I can’t and/or don’t want to work that hard” that people normally associate with any program that requires a person to really force their bodies to do things they really don’t want to do, for extended periods, and to extremes that they’re not used to.

Again, doing so works.

The problem is, the science has proven for several years now, and I am a living example, that it just does not need to be that way.

One can work out correctly…for far less periods of time…and achieve not only the same, but often BETTER results.

The worst part is that these “kill yourself” workouts actually slow a person’s metabolism over time.  The body becomes used to the long periods of high-intensity workouts, and then requires exactly that same kind of intensity on an on-going basis in order to maintain the results.

So wouldn’t we be better off finding a workout system that requires far LESS time and effort so that we KNOW we can maintain it for a much longer period of time?

That’s what I set out to do, and I found what works like a charm for me, and what is helping a great many other people.

Tony Horton finally picked up on this in 2012, and offers a new side program to his p90x program that essentially uses a very similar ten-minute workout concept, like I use…

…except that mine is much much better.

Is There a Conspiracy in the Fitness Industry?

I am always open to listening to conspiracy theories.  If I didn’t have a forever-open mind, I would not be where I am today with my health; I’d be stuck having listened to alleged authorities who supposedly are educated and know more about what I am suffering with than I do.

Don’t misunderstand.  I did listen and place trust in people who I thought could help me at first, but in doing so, they ended up making me much worst off, which I don’t believe was their intention, but is what resulted from their attempt to help me regardless.

So I researched every “alternative” approach I could, not disregarding a single thing, no matter how strange or even ridiculous it may sound.

I learned and discovered an immense amount, by simply keeping an open mind.

I am also a long-time student of the law.

As one law professor once said to me, “the law makes you THINK differently.”

Boy was he ever right on that assessment.

I learned to see things from a whole new perspective, to analyze information in a way I never had before, most importantly learning how to be aware of assumptions I was making, and how to better discern exactly what was going on, and what the core issues really were in relation to ideas that may be being either deliberately or unintentionally misinterpreted or misrepresented.

How does all of this apply to the fitness industry?

One of the core functions behind the law is to regulate commerce.

It is my theory, that a great deal of what is presented in the area of fitness is actually *designed* to promote on-going commerce.

Meaning:

And bear with me here…

For decades now, the research has been ignored that demonstrates repeatedly that a proper diet, (one that happens to differ from what the food pyramid promotes), along with a minimal amount of *properly performed exercise*…yields absolutely amazing results for MOST people.

The techniques, such as those taught in my FacelessFatloss program, simply tend to work, repeatedly, for the majority of us.

Yet the food pyramid remains in place, and the exercise techniques…those found in the endless, similar, insanity-work-your-ass-off programs…continue to be promoted literally decade after decade now (because they DO provide TEMPORARY results, while unfortunately adjusting the metabolism against us) as if to DELIBERATELY…keep people perpetually just a bit (or very) overweight, and to be able to continually promote exercise programs, in conjunction with the food pyramid, that produce sales for these products…

Over…

And over…

And over again.

I can’t help but see it as something of a “conspiracy.”

If any event keeps happening over and over again, to the benefit of a third party(s), taking advantage of “secrets,” that are known but not widely publicized…how can it be anything but?

Why I Cover Candida and Fat Loss

Conventional “wisdom” still refuses to relate the topics of fungus in our bodies and the overweight/overfat condition of our society.

Western medicine has a new love affair with the prescribing of antibiotics as “the” cure-all, shotgun approach to almost any symptoms relating to an infectious issue, almost without exception bothering to test for an actual pathogen, to determine whether an antibiotic is the best approach, and then which of the myriad of antibiotics to choose from will best target that specific bacteria, if that is indeed what the infectious issue boils down to.

According to the anti-candida specialists, whom I happen to agree with on this point, if we have had even *one round* of antibiotics…no matter how short or how long the course was…we with high probability have a yeast imbalance in our gut.

From here, and coupled with the western diet, sugars, alcohol etc, it’s only a matter of time before the yeasts morph into their fungal pathogen counterpart, breach the intestinal wall, and cause problems in other parts of the body.

This is one of many reasons why I have the “health first” approach to my entire fat loss program.

People focus on the sex appeal of having a beautiful body, and we all “get” that.

But until the focus shifts into the “health-first” approach, our bodies will have to contend with pathogen and therefore toxic loads that the body will work hard to protect itself against…a primary mode of protection being that of fat accumulation on the body.

Pathogens and Weight Loss?

People often think it’s strange that I’d even reference the idea that there could possibly be any connection between virus, bacteria and/or fungus having anything to do with weight gain.

Fact is, this is not a new concept.  it is simply rarely discussed, because mainstream commercial programs either haven’t taken it seriously enough, or, believe that attempting to incorporate the concept into their program will alienate potential customers of their weight loss program for the very reason that it is not a commonly referenced topic; carbs and calories are, pathogens and weight loss are not.

One of the most commercial systems out there…a popular weight loss expert you would recognize by name instantly…references the tie-in between fat and pathogens in one of their books, but only very briefly, and in passing.  Science has already proven the connections, as I reference in my program, especially with the strong evidence of the tie-in between a specific virus and overwhelming circumstantial evidence relating to fungus in the body.

This is why I stress the “overall health” approach in what I do.  The pills and powders out there can and do work…for a short time.

The catchword that I’ve used, and has been latched onto constantly now by all the latest programs on the late-night and Sunday afternoon infomercials is “lifestyle” change.  I won’t claim to be the originator, but what I WILL say is that I’ve always insisted on the new lifestyle to truly accomplish the long-term goals you see me demonstrate in my many-years-long now public videos.

It IS about a new way of living.  If the focus IS on health first, then of course there HAS to be a focus on toxicity, and our bodies pathogen load.  We begin collecting these pathogens virtually right after our birth; just as the corpse decomposes, aren’t we, as we age, in a similar state of decomposition in many ways (apologies for the graphic comparison).  Pathogens attack the corpse in large numbers to help the natural process of decomposition; we, as living beings, are in a somewhat similar way, in a life-long fight to maintain manageable pathogen loads in our bodies.  When some avenues of science now suggest that ALL disease/illness symptoms in our bodies have a pathogen origin…then don’t we HAVE to take an approach of health first, the cleaning up of our internal environment, to help us get to where we’re trying to go?

When I attacked the pathogen load in my body, my abs came through, my body chiseled out, and everyone was asking me “What the HECK are you doing to look like that?”

I live differently than the majority of people.  My body is my temple.  Optimal health equates to optimal performance in every sense of the word, and the appearance, the abs and muscle definition, just happen to be a side effect of my effort.

Why I “Skip” Machines at the Gym:

People have asked me, on rare occasion, why I am “skipping” certain machines at the gym.

There are no stupid questions!  I want to make sure I address even the easiest and most simple questions, to help *everyone* in the learning process towards achieving their healthy body goals.

It’s simply a matter of the mirror:  I base what machines I use and what exercises I’m going to do based on the overall look I’m trying to achieve.

While I appreciate the “circuit” system that so many gyms have, they are designed primarily for people who really do not have any sense of direction, and just need to get their body moving.  In this regard, these circuit systems are fantastic and a great place to start for any newbie.

But for the more intermediate or advanced exerciser, we learn through experience which machines best suit our individual goals.

This topic applies more than anything to those who are looking to build muscle in an effort to “body shape” themselves, sculpt themselves into whatever their genetics will best allow them to accomplish.  Although you would think this automatically applies mostly to men, I am hoping that more women will try to understand the importance of weight resistance exercise as a crucial part of achieving your goals.

Toning and building our bodies into what we’re trying to achieve is the point.  This is the challenge we all have, but the great news is that there is a tremendous amount that we can all do to help change the things, the parts of our bodies that we’d like to change the most.

We all have individual body weaknesses.  For those using weight resistance, we have an advantage over those not using weights to help develop specific body parts in ways that better balance our bodies.  And although “spot reduction” is not really an option to reduce specific areas of our bodies, an overall understanding of diet and exercise can take us far towards reducing any specific body issues.  I’ll even go out on a limb and mention that SOME schools of thought are re-exploring the notion that we CAN “spot reduce”…a concept that has been allegedly proven as a falsehood, since the early 1990‘s.

Regardless: A better body is, in my opinion, achievable by just about 100% of the people who genuinely try.  The best body our genetics will allow…and even BEYOND the best of our genetics…is ALSO achievable with the right diet, activity level, and knowledge of how to get there.

Based on how the rest of my family appears (all twenty to thirty pounds overweight), I am a living example of just that.  🙂

Drawing the Line on B12

If you’re going to use Vitamin B12 as a supplement, either to enhance your overall health and energy levels, or because it has been determined that you’re lacking B12, you have to take a stance on which form you’re going to use:

For me, this means either the borderline “poisonous” variety of B12, known as cyanocobalamin, made in part from cyanide (a toxic poison that I have FELT my liver detoxing from after using), OR, you can choose the methylcobalamin (“methyl” B12 for short) and derive the much more biologically-friendly results via sublingual absorption direct into the blood stream.

There are times when the intuition and inner guidance simply must come into play.  Sure I research like mad, and read the studies as often as I possibly can.

But my “gut” tells me that if I have the option between using a product built in part by a known toxin, as compared to one that is not, I don’t really need any studies to convince me of what I should or should not be using to enhance my health.

WHY take something that my body HAS to process in part as a TOXIN…IF I DON’T HAVE TO?

It just ain’t rocket science to me.

There is no question that far too many people can benefit from B12 supplementation.  It has the ability to dramatically increase people’s energy levels, adding to their sense of well-being and as a water-soluble vitamin, carries little to no risk of overdose (I’ve never seen any cases of actual reported claims of overdose).

Like so many things, the methyl variety may cost more at times.  But the option is easy: the expense of your body, or the expense of your wallet.

I choose the latter in every incidence……………………….Love, Happiness, Health and Peace…………Tim

Raw Whey Protein Rules

As in “the rules of using raw whey protein.”

The standard against which all proteins are measured is against that of whey protein.

In other words, whey protein is “the” most bio-available protein source there is.  You mix the powder in your favorite healthy drink or spring water, drink/eat it (we view it as a “food,” as compared to a “supplement”) and your body gives a sigh of relief as the desperately needed, healthy and “body-understanding” protein is digested and delivered to exactly where it is needed, the muscles being the focus for most who use it.

When I say “body understanding,” I’m saying that it’s a whole-food…the body “sees” it AS a food, and understands how to best break it down and utilize it.  It is a complete food, filled with all sorts of beneficial components that go far outside that of merely building muscle.

The most productive way to use whey is to eat some both before, even during, but especially AFTER a workout.

In fact, having it AFTER a workout is SO important, that without it, you have virtually wasted your workout time and effort.

So it boils down to which whey are you going to choose.

The one promoted here as part of the FacelessFatloss program, and the pending “Over 40 and Ripped” program, both developed by Tim Ritter, uses only one kind of protein, sourced from grass-eating, hormone-free cows, a raw milk subjected to only the very lowest temperatures to help destroy harmful bacteria, but NOT destroy the protein/amino acids nor enzymes.

There is absolutely NO POINT, in my opinion, to consuming ANY OTHER WHEY.

“Yes,” this one may cost a bit more…but the trade-off is that you’re getting the cleanest whey on the market, without ANY of the toxic additives the other whey companies use out there to fill up space in their product containers (giving the illusion of more product) as well as poisoning your body in the process with all the flavor enhancers and other completely unnecessary ingredients and latest marketing fads that will entice you to purchase it over a truly clean, honest, and healthy alternative such as that we offer.

“Yes,” I make small commissions on the sale of this product.  All my customers know that with some products I make a little commission (very small) and with others I make none, and with still others, the commission goes to a charitable cause.

But I also USE this whey as my SOLE WHEY PROTEIN SOURCE.  I literally get ILL now if I have to use any other (I’m not kidding…I’ve run out of supply, purchased the cleanest whey I could find, and felt like CRAP, including a headache, after each usage).

“Organic” Produce In Your Country?

It’s important to remember that the term “Organic” is something of an “American” word, I would say somewhat “owned” by the United States.  It is a standard used here to help consumers determine which foods will hopefully have the lowest pesticide content, among other important issues the buyer would want to be aware of.

It does NOT always mean the product is non-GMO, or non-Genetically Modified (Organism).

That aside however, we also have a new and growing standard called “CNG,” which stands for “Certified Naturally Grown.”

This is based more on an honor system, as compared to having a government agency monitoring the foods.

To obtain the “Organic” label is here very costly for most farmers.  Smaller farmers have a very difficult time affording this qualification, due simply to economics, so the more health-conscious growers decided to work together, to help provide consumers with an option to the organic standard that they could trust…and that may, in many cases, be even BETTER than organic standards that seem to decline year by year, as the government standards allow farmers to use more and more toxins in the growing process to attempt to rid the crop of insects and other problems.

In other countries outside of the US, you will need to check with the farmers to see what their practices are.  They could be even BETTER than organic standards here…or…they could be much worse.

I regret that I do not have any way of verifying the quality of the growing processes used by farmers outside of the US.  But I would hope that most people, who depend on these farmers for their produce needs, would have some sort of standard expected of the farmers, to help ensure they are obtaining the healthiest foods they can possibly obtain.

Often Asked Questions:

PLEASE be sure to take just a couple minutes to go through these few questions.  Over the years these are the questions that are submitted to me every so often, that have created a large time and energy expenditure on my part.  I finally figured out I simply needed to have a page designated to these questions so that it would give me more time to help everyone get on with their part in the program in the most productive and efficient manner possible.

Q. Where is the Ebook and Quick Start Guide?

A. Both come as attachments in the very first email/subchapter you receive after clicking the confirmation email.  They are there over 99% of the time.  If you’re reading this page, you’ve received the first email/subchapter.  Of the couple occasions when the customer could not find them, the customer forwarded the first email to a separate email client, (such as from hotmail to yahoo) and the attachments appeared in the other email client.  However, you should not have to do this.  The company that sends you the daily emails is extremely reliable, and they should be there in that first email/subchapter.  If you are certain you cannot find them after checking or asking a friend who may be more familiar with email attachments for help, contact me and I will send them to you directly.

Q. I haven’t received your program in many days…what happened?

A. You accidently hit the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the daily email sub-chapter you received.  Every time a program participant sends me this concern, the responder system that sends the daily email to you shows via their records that you clicked on that link, which stops the program from coming to you.  If you do this, you must provide me with a new email address to send the program to, and it may take a couple days to plug you back into the program.  Also, the program will start over from the first email.  Solution: Don’t click on that unsubscribe link! 😉  (Unless of course you don’t wish to receive the program any more, and if that’s the case, I would welcome feedback from you regarding why, so that I can improve the program for future participants…I want everyone to be happy!) 🙂  Also keep in mind that after the 29th day or so, emails come less frequently over the next month.

Q. Can you send the program to me all at once, instead of over a month or more?

A. I cannot.  The way the program has been designed, it is routed through a system that automatically sends you the program on a daily (or other) basis that relieves me of the burden of attempting to do it myself.  The program was built to be gradually learned, and there is no way to send all of the materials all at once.

Q. Can you send me a shortened version of your program?

A. I cannot.  The program is extensive, yet comes in small, easy-to-grasp chunks on purpose.  There is a lot to learn.  And if we are to obtain the results we want, all of the aspects that I cover NEED to be covered and understood.  If any one part of the system is left out in an attempt to shorten it, it would be a huge disservice to the participant.  The information I cover is essential to life-long health and fat loss as a whole.  At some point in the future, you may find yourself…as others have…very thankful that I covered the scope of materials the way that I did.  Too much of it ends up applying to too many people at some point in their lives.

Q. How do you feel about…(such and such product) or …(such and such program)…or (such and such supplement), (etc)?

A. (Sigh)…this is a VERY difficult topic for me, but here’ goes:

I LOVE receiving emails from everyone.

HOWEVER:

I discovered the hard way, a while ago, that people will abuse my good nature by asking questions outside of the fast, but while not being on the “Ten with Tim” Extended Program (EP).  Just two quick notes on this:

-I often make very little money on my program, often only a fraction of what you paid.

-People have abused my generosity in the past to the point where my health was being affected.

SO!

As mentioned, I still enjoy hearing from people and read all emails, progress reports, positive comments and criticisms.  If you’d like to write to me and correspond about topics outside of the fast, please do!  I enjoy feedback of all kinds.  Just please understand that I may not be able to respond back (but will try!)

…And that I can’t engage questions outside of the fast for those not on the EP.  Out of fairness to them and myself.  If you want to be on the EP, but are having trouble affording it, contact me and I’ll let you know if we can work something out based on my current obligations. 🙂

I do make exceptions for people who are dealing with serious illness, as the exception to the rule.  If you are dealing with illness, contact me and we will discuss options, depending on my level of knowledge in the area you are struggling with.  If I can help, I will, and would never charge you for information on how to get well.  And be sure to visit http://www.maintenancemotions.com where my entire pain/illness work is available for free. 🙂

Thank you so much for your understanding regarding the above.

As always…Love, Happiness, Health and Peace…………Tim   🙂
