More Hatred Expressed on Colloidal Silver vids.

Having videos on YouTube forces one to develop a very thick skin.

The “haters” are rampant and feeding where ever they can find a place to spew their nasty bile.

I have never received so much hatred directed at me than for the colloidal and ionic silver videos.

One email was even an outright death threat.

I didn’t take kindly to that.

To say it “pissed me off” would be putting it very mildly.

More than anything, the comments were made based on reading the title of the videos only, not actually watching the content I uploaded, and/or not taking the time to understand the nature of silver colloids and the science behind how they work in relation to other forms of silver available on the market, or home-made varieties.

I received yet another today, and it appeared to be, once again, based on not taking the time to actually listen to the material.

The ironic part is, that if they actually DID watch and listen to the video…they would most likely discover we are “on the same team” on the issue.

And that is what angers me the most about the whole ordeal:

When a good concept is not understood fully, yet aggressively defended based more on personal beliefs and politics than anything else.

This kind of ignorance coupled with arrogance is what makes so much of what the rest of us are trying to do, in creating positive change on as large a scale as we can, look to the rest of the world like something unworthy of respect or even time to explore.

And that in turn causes a loss for all.

Free Weight Loss Program for Teens

(THIS OFFER HAS BEEN CLOSED.  PLEASE GO TO THE HOME PAGE HERE)

My weight loss/fat loss program found at the tabs above is being made available on a limited basis, via parental consent, for free, to teenagers under 18 who are struggling with weight and over-fat issues.

What I have found is that the education…which I stress repeatedly as a focal point to helping ourselves lose weight/fat and regain great health…is what is lacking most in this area as too much faith and trust is placed in outdated modes of food pyramids and other alleged “healthy” eating practices that clearly, based on plenty of evidence all around us, is simply NOT working any longer.

The consumerism of western society, as it spreads throughout the planet, also spreads with it increasing incidences of diabetes, weight gain, low energy and other forms of poor health that focus much more on perpetuating low-quality foods for the sake of stockholders and profit, over the health of our people, and especially that of our future…our children.

Kids used to be slim with beautiful bodies, for the most part, back when I was in school in the 70’s and 80’s.

Obesity rates have since skyrocketed.

I can show you and your son or daughter why based on my research, and what MUST be done about it in order to create lasting positive change.

My program DOES require adjustments, and perhaps a lifestyle change.

But substitutions can be made for certain foods that are just as fulfilling, along with my specialized exercise program (he or she can start with a mere ten minutes a day) and a reduction in quantity/calories and he or she can be well on their way to truly effective and long-standing weight loss that can then become a lifestyle that may reward him/her for the rest of their lives.

I know how to do this.

Let me show your child what I’ve learned.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE:

-I must be able to communicate with the parent via email and/or phone; I need to know the program is going to an actual teen, and there are parts of the program a teen should not participate in such as the cleanse/fast that I use for myself.

-Parent must understand that the program contains information that helped me, and helped others, but that it is designed to be solely educational, and may or may not be right for the teen.

-Parent agrees to have a trusted family doctor, preferably a doctor well-versed in nutrition, diet and exercise to monitor the teen should the teen participate in any weight or fat loss program.

-I will not be able to offer assistance/consultation with the program due to my current obligations.

-And lastly, that all disclaimers that are a part of my program apply: I am not a doctor, I cannot give medical advice, my program contains my research and opinions only, and no part of my program is intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any disease.

Watch the Mirror…Not the Scale.

Using the scale as  your measurement device to help you determine where you want to be in your weight loss and fat loss goals is somewhat counter-intuitive, and worse, can have a negative effect on what you’re trying to accomplish.

Muscle weighs more than fat.

Using the mirror as your guide is especially helpful for women, since an ideal I suggest women aspire to…those of the pro-bikini, figure and fitness competitors…require that the lady be willing to develop some serious muscle tone, in order to not only bring out those sexy curves (it’s the MUSCLE that gives you them that fantastic look) and of course, is the fuel for the fat-burning fire.

And no, you are not going to become muscle-bound, looking like the female bodybuilders in doing so.  Those women are lifting extremely heavy, for long periods of time, taking in huge huge calorie counts, and very often…steroids or other hormonal enhancements to achieve that degree of muscularity.

So as the female puts on this muscle tone and definition, and her body fat comes down, the scale…her actual WEIGHT…may not be reflective (pun) of what she sees in the mirror.

And don’t let it be.

Forget the damn scale.  Use the mirror to see how you can re-shape your body, bringing out shape in your legs, and just a little bit in the shoulders and arms, and then use my exercise techniques to tone done the midsection to help create the feminine hourglass effect that is so pleasing to the eye.

Challenging the Mayo clinic on Supplementation

On page 4 of the March 2012 issue of the Mayo Clinic Health Letter there is an article entitled “Risks of vitamin supplements.”

In the article, they explain that a great many people take supplements, but that they may actually be doing more harm than good.

I’ll be the first to back the notion that we should use our food sources for our nutrition first and foremost, and use supplements only when necessary for illness or needed health enhancement.

But I would challenge the overall stance of the Mayo Clinic’s opinion, some of which was derived from an Iowa Women’s Health Study whereby they tracked for almost twenty years the supplementation habits of more than 38,000 women 55 and older.  Their findings suggest that taking a multivitamin appears to increase the risk of death.

My first question in analyzing their study would be to ask them: “What multivitamin did these women take?  Was it a low-quality, barely-bioavailable multi like Centrum, whereby much of the solid pill often end up in the stool in the toilet, or was it a whole-food multivitamin made from real food…foods that the body understands and can make use of?”

My bet is that the multi’s took, where almost definitely not of a whole-food sourced vitamin.  After all, real whole-food multi’s are relatively new, and certainly were not available 20 years ago (at least to my knowledge).

Without being specific as to what these women were taking, the reader is left making a very broad-based decision based solely on assumptions about what actually happened.  An average reader’s interpretation of a “multi-vitamin” could amount to any number of supplements on the market, but it will most likely end up being that of the popular brand names that we all see advertised on TV.  Multi’s that essentially, in many cases, use forms of vitamins and minerals that are not food-sourced and may even be interpreted as toxic to the body.

And in that sense, I too would encourage these women to NOT take such a “multi,” if it can even be called that.  (I prefer the term “synthetic rock pill” over “multi-vitamin.”)

Having a law background, I have learned how to discern any/all studies, and to know what kinds of questions to ask in all of these studies that are made public.  It is frustrating…downright angering…to see so much effort go into what appears to be a misleading of the public with some sort of agenda, though I of course won’t claim that is exactly what is going on.

Perhaps the people involved in creating the study do have the best of intentions…But…when people are in turn lead to believe that ALL multivitamins are not only useless, but even harmful, a great many people may miss out on the benefits that a real whole-food supplement, from a real food source full of nutrition that the body recognizes, can bring them.

And from that interpretation, we are victimized by such studies.

Fresh Healthy Vending…Not Good, but Not Bad.

In 2011 a new concept in vending machines was born whereby they’d sell hopefully “healthy” foods over the usual junk we see in every day vending machines (equatable in my opinion to the same quality of food one would find in a sewage plant processor or garbage can).

I looked into what these machines will be carrying, fully expecting to be disappointed…and I was.

But not *terribly* so.

The contents need a lot of improvement, but to be fair, the product manufacturers need to improve first.  If the vending service has only a certain range to choose from…that of our current “health foods” market…then they too are limited in what they can offer, and of course, the focus is going to be on what actually sells, over what is actually healthy.

I’ll take having one of these machines at my disposal when I’m on the go.  There is no competition between what this machine will offer over the mechanical garbage dispenser that we’re all used to.

BUT, we need the food product manufacturers to get more with the program, and we need this desperately.

The vast majority of the products in these vending machines will still have numerous faults…too much unfermented soy products, products with loads of unnecessary additives, too many sugar-dumping  juices, sugar-filled yogurts, high sugar “health” bars (are we starting to see a pattern here?) etc.

We’re on the right track, but, as I stress over and over again in my materials, we are a society of addictions.  Real addictions that we are either going to actively intervene on and change, and with the help of our food product manufacturers, or, we are going to continue to be a society of indulgence, regardless of the health consequences or how fat we get, and little to nothing will really ever change.

Fresh Healthy Vending…a great concept…we just need to fix the big picture to make it something truly “healthy” and truly beneficial.

Benefits of Adderall…Naturally.

It is shocking to discover that an additional one million prescriptions are given out this year to people who do NOT have ADD, or related symptoms, for which the drug Adderall would be prescribed.

Women are taking it as a way of achieving high states of alertness and focus, while having the side “benefit” of losing weight due to how adderall is processed in the body and its impact on stomach function.

It’s beyond shocking…it’s outright appalling.

Reason being, this is a drug.  A drug that alters brain chemistry and once it does so, causes an addiction that requires the abuser of this drug to NEED the drug in order to maintain the effects.

What IS the difference between this scenario and that of the heroin/crack addict on the street?

SO much of these sorts of benefits can be had naturally, via a lifestyle focused on health first, with high attention paid to detoxification (as compared to literally toxifying the body with a drug) and pathogen removal, cleaning of the organs responsible for elimination and keeping the body in a high-functioning state via diet and movement.

These benefits can also by had via prudent supplementation, where deficiencies may exist, which are extremely commonplace nowadays.

Wouldn’t it be far more beneficial to your mental state and body if you fed your body useful, natural nutrients to derive almost the exact same benefits, as compared to attempting to maintain an unnatural “high” via these toxic substances with huge side-effect profiles?

How about adequate vitamin D via the sun for starters?  Have you had your levels checked, and do they adhere to levels suggested by Dr. Holick, the vitamin D expert?  Levels of at least around 60?

I’d bet if you are suffering from low energy, etc, your levels are no where near that.

How about exploring water-soluble vitamins like B12 in its methyl form, and C via camu camu, amla, or perhaps ascorbic acid as a last resort?

All of these alternatives work *with* the body, and provide other benefits outside of increasing energy and focus.

For me, the choice is easy.

Do Cell Phones Cause Brain Damage?

I get asked about cell phones as a part of the concern focused on overall health in my program.

It is a question I’m happy to answer, because I have strong opinions on it that need no substantiation or “proof” to back up.

I hate using the word “hate.”

It is a potent word.

There are very few things in life that I “hate.”

Among them would be:

Mosquitos, fleas and ticks, all of which I’d have no problem with a mass extinction event happening to.

I also “hate” certain politicians…Basically all of them.

(That was meant to be a little joke…when you spend ten years straight studying law and engaged in politics, you learn the hard way what a joke it all is).

And lastly…

I “hate” cell phones.

Everyone who knows me knows I can’t stand the things, that I rarely to ever have mine on (and get razzed about that by family and friends constantly) and that I have constant trouble trying to use and master the damn thing, despite being a very “technology capable” person, accomplished on the computer and most other electronic devices.

Here’s the gig:

The things cause too much problematic radiation.  Those huge cell towers are blasting a signal *right at your head* when you are talking on the thing.

Is that something you think is conducive to good health, when we know that it is creating a virtual living “soup” of frequency pollution all around us, and our cellular functions depend on various frequencies themselves to communicate with one another?

Do you see a potential for interference?

This applies to wifi as well of course.

And they’ve of course all become “necessary evils.”

But I have witnessed first hand how my concentration, focus and memory are affected by cell phone use.  And I’ve watched friends experience the same.

One person in particular was one of the smartest little whips I’ve ever come across when I met him five years ago.

After daily use of his cell phone, I’ve noticed his ability to form spectacular opinions and stay focused on one area of study has been reduced to sporadic at best.

And he faults the cell phone for this above anything else.

And everyone complains of headaches at a certain point as well.

The industry is multi-billion-dollar.  Studies proving that this technology may be impacting us negatively are simply NOT going to come out under most any condition.  Or if they do, they will be minor, and gradual, so as to help curb the economic impact such studies could cause.

But I don’t need any study to tell me that it’s EITHER safe or unsafe.

I have my own personal experience and that of friends as all the proof I need that cell phones cause headaches, interfere with cognitive abilities, affect memory, and affect focus and concentration.

That’s all I need to know that cell phones are a problem, they need to be kept as far from the head as possible (and I use an extension ear piece and mic), and I avoid using them as much as I can.

The Question of Food Combining.

Another popular topic I get asked about pertains to food combining…”Should I or shouldn’t I?”

I cover this topic only in passing in my program, so I can understand why there is confusion.  This is often hotly debated amongst the health/nutrition crowd, and people have strong opinions on the issue.

I can’t tell you whether you personally should combine your foods or not…your body needs to be experimented with by YOU first and foremost, but I do have an opinion on the topic myself that *I* feel rather strongly about, stick to myself, and have a decent science standpoint on it as to why.

Understanding my focus on sugar, think about how sugar occurs in nature.

Take an apple for instance.

An apple, is an amazing fruit with a ton to offer us in the form of nutrition.  Think also in terms of how nature combines this sweet fruits naturally occurring sugars with naturally occurring fiber, and you’ll begin to see where I’m going on this issue.

To me, it’s pretty cut and dry.

Think of sugar in any context that it occurs in nature.  It is naturally combined with every other food sector, fats, proteins and fibers.

Milk’s lactose and its fat and protein combo.

Carrots with their fiber.

Think of an example where this sugar is not combined with SOME other fat, protein or fiber.

You’ll be hard-pressed.

And the reason for this is that in nature, these combinations naturally slow the body’s intake of sugar, raising blood glucose levels naturally, in a much slower manner than happens with so many processed and junk foods.

Food combining…mostly a pretty good idea in my opinion.

Switch Your Mind to the “OFF” Position.

In my program, I make only brief and passing reference to a technique that has brought me immense states of joy…has added to the quality of my life on such a profound level that it is literally indescribable.

My focus as everyone knows by now is on “Health First.”  If we use that approach, an all-encompassing approach, the sexy body that everyone wants follows much more easily.

I have so often wanted to make more than just a passing reference to this technique I reference above.  But sometimes this method can be thought of by some people as relating to a religious or spiritual “belief” of sorts, which it most definitely is not, although people can take it there if they choose to.

And I have made a life-long study of religion and spirituality (literally since I was three years old, looking up into the sky and asking what life, God, etc was all about) and it has become a very personal issue for me, one that is not worth discussing simply BECAUSE it is that personal.

But what I CAN share, and so very much want to, is more about how we can accentuate our health HUGELY…via understanding the joy that is found by living in the moment, without thoughts, outside of the endless mind stream.

The modern-day author who is re-explaining this ancient technique has sold millions of books about it over the past 15 years.  And he is an excellent teacher, one who can show how this can be so helpful to *everyone*, regardless of beliefs, because it can have *nothing to do with beliefs*…and simply be approached from a mechanical standpoint as a human function of mind.

The author’s name is Eckhart Tolle.  Please see his book “The Power of Now” for starters.

As mentioned, it is entirely non-denominational.

It is much more about showing how our mind can mess with us so terribly.  How his mind almost took his life, and how a person’s thought stream is responsible for endless anguish in the human species.

It’s ultra-simple, yet ultra-difficult…;)…

Simply turn OFF the mind.

Stop thinking.

Don’t worry, you will NOT lose your cognitive abilities.  In practice, you will actually…possibly GREATLY…enhance them.

Be still.  Look around you at the items nearby, and do not label or define *anything*.  Just BE.

No thoughts.  No thinking.

JUST BE.

Cold, Tasty, Green-Smoothie Recipe:

Using my Ninja Pulse Blender (link below), I combine the following:

Three frozen slices of apple (I cut up slices of an organic Red Delicious apple and bag them in the freezer)

Fill up the remainder of the processor cup, to the line, with organic greens (my local grocer supplies mixed greens)

Add spring water to the bottom 1/3 of the processor cup

Add a spoonful of Dr. Webster’s organic green powder

Add a serving of Dr. Webster’s raw whey protein

(Both can be purchased at www.completehealthdallas.com, use my name, facelessfatloss in the coupon code for a discount)

Blend briefly…the Ninja is WAY powerful and will turn the frozen apples into cold apple juice in no time

Remove from unit and top off processor cup with as many more greens as you can fit.

Add additional raw egg if you want more protein (optional)

Blend again briefly.

DONE.

Drink slowly…CHEW YOUR JUICE!  Consider taking a digestive enzyme to assist with the breaking down of the extra fiber.

Link to the amazing Ninja…it’s like a jacked-up crazy version of yesteryear’s Magic Bullet blender.  The thing will turn a whole frozen apple into liquid in almost seconds.  I went through five juicers/smoothers to find one that worked, would not foam, and gave me real smoothies, and THIS IS IT…I wouldn’t trade it for ANY other machine (right click to open in new tab):
